Sewage Treatment Plant

The process of eliminating contaminants from wastewater of the household sewage is known as sewage treatment. It includes chemical, physical, and biological processes to produce environmentally safe treated effluent(or treated wastewater) and to eliminate these contaminants. Sewage treatment by-product is slurry or semi-solid waste, known as sewage sludge, to undergo future treatment before suiting the land application or disposal needs.

Effluent Treatment Plant

Industrial wastewater treatment covers the mechanisms and processes used to treat wastewater that is produced as a by-product of industrial or commercial activities. The treated industrial wastewater (or effluent) may be released to a sanitary sewer or reused to surface water in the environment after treatment. Majority of industries produce wastewater although the latest trends in the developed world are to reduce recycle or production of such wastewater within the production process. However, today the majority of industries are dependent on the wastewater processes.
