Nylon Pipe Fittings

Nylon fittings are for work pressures at normal room temperatures up to 150 PSI. Temperatures can approach 175°F with no degradation of the fitting’s strength at very low pressures. Nylon is resistant to a large range of chemicals including most ammonium compounds, detergents, diesel fuel, most sodium compounds, ethanol, gasoline, trichloroethylene, hexane, agricultural chemicals, magnesium sulfate, and zinc sulfate. We must not use nylon fittings for bromine, acid-based fertilizers, fluorine, chlorine, xylene., hydrochloric acid, compressed gases, and sulfuric acid.
